I have buit a remote control car that is currently visible in the cool creations, and I hope to soon submit it into the LU creation lab, and what I would suggest is that you build it with power functions, because they are very good for building remote control cars, another thing to rember is to be paitent with the car-these things can take a very long time to build. davidj888

Firstly let's keep this simple so it's easy. You need 2 medium motors, battery box, ir receiver, ir remote (your choice) then alot of gears and axles and a body for the car. Then the second motor will power the back wheels, while the other is used to turn front wheels, incase your still having problems, it's very hard to explain, so just search the internet for help.

I have power functions. I made a three-wheeled remote controlled car, that worked pretty well. I don't know how to make a 4 wheeled car; does anybody know how? P.S. For the 3 wheeled car, put the front 2 wheels each on their own motors, and the third back wheel should not have a motor, but should able to turn 360 degrees freely, along with being able to turn normally. ![[^o)]](/emoticons/emotion-40.gif)

If you have the Track Turbo RC, like I do, you can take of all the body pieces and what not and customize it.

They have already built one or two, its called the LEGO racers super sonic rc, if you dont want to use its ok, beacuse i thought you would like to build on your own. If you want to choose the dirt crusher rc and the super sonic rc, take the dirt crusher. Ive seen it before and it looks easy to build so you can do that. OR you can get power functions and do it yourself with legos wich i think is a better idea becuase i know you want to build on yourself dont you? So I Have no clue how to build a romote control car, but use power functions or mindstorm to make one and i hope this helped

There are some really great tips on making the steering system at the following link: http://creator.LEGO.com/en-us/buildingtips/Category1/default.aspx some of the parts shown are somewhat rare, so you may have to redesign slightly to work with what you have
