You're COMPLETLY right! It's like the Brick is an endangered species, being replaced with more advanced pieces. I propose we (the LEGO fans) try to make more creations using all Bricks. If you like my idea, Visit my My LEGO Network page and hit "ADD TO FRIEND LIST." Who's with me!?

count me in too! we need so much more bricks! i say we make a petition!

Which makes that set great. I can't stand HUGE Bricks that make sets less challenging,

Yes I agree that this is a great set that brings the old style back with a lot of bricks. Just use the Lion Knighs or Black Falcon Knights instead of the new ones and I will feel like I am back in the 80s/90s again. This set reminds me of 6067 Guarded Inn, 6060 Blacksmith Shop, 6041 Armor Shop or 6035 Castle Gurd. These sets used great tradeoff of castle walls and a lot of smaller bricks.

I know! Drawbridge Escape uses a lot of big bricks! Not a lot of small ones.Sad

I recently got a LEGO set and there were only 12 bricks out of 70 pieces!
I called LEGO just to make shore that all the Pieces were there.
But they said that all the pieces there.Sad

i think the sets are better now they are just as easy to build and hold togerther no matter how hard you try to break it if you want bricks there still are some sets that use them like the LEGO city buildings i am almost positive the building is made of bricks i see the problem though there a little expensive but i have bought some that are cheapand madeout of bricks i forget which ones though

I know that the new sets aren't always as good as the old legos, any of you remember the old airport set 10159? the airport set 10159 is a good example to compare to the current airport 7894(both have disappeared from the LEGO city product area and the LEGO catalog). The 10159 has about 10 minifigs, 3 cars, and 4 baseplates while the 7894 only has 5 minifigs, 1 car, and 1 baseplate. In my opinion, some(not all) old LEGO sets were more fun than the new ones.

Hey Fellow LEGO Fans! Do you like LEGO sets? I do! with all those neat structures and cool features! BUT! Have you noticed something about those things? The Pieces! lot's of plates and cylinders and slopes, but only 4 or 5 bricks? Come on LEGO! Where is that good old red brick you were known for? Not as much bricks as usual? Do you think LEGO needs to get back with more brick structures? Do you think LEGO needs more bricks in the LEGO sets? Like good old times?

They need to.  I mean they have way to many technic pieces.  I really hate technic pieces!!  We should make petition!![8o|]

I hadn't noticed that there we less regular bricks in sets. (That may be because I don't go buying sets whenever I have ten bucks to spend. ) I think that the special pieces are really cool, and if you want more bricks, you could always just buy a bucket or box of bricks.

Yea right!AngryAngryAngry.  We want sets with bricks!!!!!!
